Verdant Series
Botanical abstractions exploring growth, movement, and the quiet architecture of natural forms.
The Verdant Series brings together a collection of botanical-inspired works rooted in line, repetition, rhythm, and organic structure. These pieces draw from natural forms and patterns, translating them into layered compositions that feel both familiar and abstract. Each work begins with attention to the small structures found in nature: the curve of a leaf, the branching of a stem, the movement of growth outward from a center.
Through simplified shapes, layered marks, and quiet shifts in color and texture, the series explores the way natural forms hold both delicacy and strength. Together, the works in this series reflect an ongoing interest in resilience, emergence, and the subtle beauty of things still becoming.

About the Series
The Verdant Series is part of my broader practice exploring texture, resilience, and the way natural forms can become visual metaphors for growth, endurance, and renewal. These works are rooted in close observation, but they are not literal botanical studies. Instead, they are abstracted impressions of the patterns, movement, and quiet persistence found in the natural world.
